Follow these steps to complete kanji crossword puzzles in Khanji Kun. Each level challenges your kanji knowledge with a fresh crossword grid.

Select a Cell
EN: Tap any non-black cell in the grid to choose where you want to enter a character.

Watch Your Lives
EN: Each incorrect answer costs 1 life. If your lives reach 0, you lose the level.

Tips & Tricks
Start with crossing words
Look for cells shared by both across and down words â filling them in first gives you more letters to work with.
Save coins for hard puzzles
Don't spend coins on easy levels. Save them for challenging chapters where a single hint can unlock the whole puzzle.
Retry for more stars
Completed a level but lost lives? Go back and retry to earn a full 3-star rating.
Read the clues carefully
Clues are given in both English and Japanese. Sometimes reading the Japanese clue gives more context.
